Who is Klipp for?

Klipp is SaaS receipt and expense management software for Swiss SMEs. It combines AI receipt reading, matching with card transactions and preparation of VAT data for accounting.

How much does Klipp cost?

Klipp costs CHF 14.99 excl. VAT per user per month. The price is based on one existing payment card per user.

How does the subscription work?

Billed monthly, with no annual commitment. Cancel before the next renewal; your access continues until the end of the paid period.

Which card statements are supported?

Klipp currently supports UBS and Swisscard statements. Using another card issuer? Contact us to discuss integrating it.

Does Klipp issue a payment card?

No. Klipp is software and does not issue payment cards. Your team uses its existing cards; Klipp matches receipts with transactions on the imported card statement.

How does AI receipt reading work?

You photograph a receipt. Text recognition (OCR) and AI extract the merchant, date, amount and VAT. Klipp then suggests the matching card transaction for you to review and approve.

How does Klipp handle several VAT rates on one receipt?

Klipp reads the receipt lines and splits the amounts by VAT rate. The Coop example on this page shows two rates on the same receipt, with the net amount and VAT separated to prepare the accounting records.

Where is the data stored?

Data and receipts are stored in Switzerland. Each company has its own separate space.

What can I send to my accountant?

Klipp prepares an Excel file with amounts broken down by VAT rate and an archive of supporting documents. You can send this package to your accountant for bookkeeping.
